No bloggin', because I've been busy.

 Busy swatching every polish in my collection, minus the glitters, because I ran out of swatch sticks. I'm going to try to order some more, but I heard my source in Hong Kong has been refunding people's money when they try to buy them because he's all out.

 

I have painted my nails a couple times this week. On Tuesday I went to get a gel coat put on my nails at Ulta, which turned out to not be the greatest idea. I whined about it here on MUA, but basically Ulta are scumbags, and while right now $25 is a good deal for someone to slap some OPI gel polish on your digits and send you away with a free bottle of polish (which you have to remind the girl at the checkout of twice and then watch her stand there with her mouth open, no idea what to do, because she still ended up ringing it as a regular purchase), they are bumping up the price to $35+ and don't actually hire nail techs. Apparently they just sent their hair stylists and estheticians to a gel certification class and make them do it. Others have had less than stellar results and I gotta say... mine is pretty bad. If it wasn't for the fact having something totally haaarrrd and strroooonnnngggg on my nails keeps me from breaking my index and middle finger, I'd soak this crap off pronto.


So anywho, I have not been exactly exciting nail-wise this past week. I did a couple solid manis with the SOPI Betsey Johnson polish, It's My Pink and Manglaze Fuggen Ugly.  I did get a few Layla holos in the mail from Aveyou last week that included the bottle of silver OPI "Pawlish" for dogs that I threw in there to get me $1 shipping.


Turns out, Pita does not like getting her nails painted. It makes her think she did something wrong.
